In two short weeks we will be all packed up and transitioning to a new phase of life. It seems we have been in some sort of preparation mode or in some way looking ahead to "something else" for ages now. 2+ years in Orlando serving at a church plant there (in preparation for service overseas), 1 year in California reaching out to international students with English House Ministries(gaining valuable cross cultural experience), months of training and support raising before leaving for Thailand. Now we are wrapping up 10 months of language study before transitioning one more time to Ubon Ratchathanee! Interesting fact... it was 8 years 11 months ago that the place called Ubon Rathathanee came onto our radar screen during a 10 day vision and prayer trip in 2000.

Right now I kinda feel a little bit like a rocket ship in the final count down. It is that monumental for me. All the disapointments, heartaches, hopes, questions, waiting, hard work are finally going to bear fruit. Woo hoo!!!

One thing I am looking forward to is having a house of our own to make a home without having the thought "this is only for a little while" in the back of our minds. That is one thing we have not experienced as a married couple.

Here is a picture of the house we will be moving into.
