Rice Harvest

Now is rice harvest time here in Thailand and I(Jon) and team member Silk had the opportunity to go out and help on two different days. We only helped for a few hours each day and we were pretty tired after that. We were especially sore on the second day since the rice had all fallen down and was much more difficult to harvest. We asked one of the other harvesters how long he worked and he said "From first light until dark. The sun is my clock during harvest time!" Wow! I'll think about that next time you take a bite of rice!

Expectant

Well, in case you haven't heard, we are expecting our first son on December 7th. We are both overjoyed and excited for the gift that is coming. It is exciting to see all the changes in Becky and to imagine that there is a little one growing in her womb. It is truly amazing.
